so, here’s the formal tracklist from the album. you can click HERE to listen / download it in it’s entirety for free.

after listening to these songs several thousand times in the last year, a few of Jon’s lyrics started sticking with me. . we flirted with the idea of subtitling each track with an extracted line of my selection from Jon’s fine writing a la “Hail To The Thief”. though we ended up scrapping the idea but i thought i’d include them here for your perusal.

hello Parks and Recreation enthusiasts,

you may not be aware of this but ParkandRecGifs is run (admittedly poorly) by a single man. that man is me, Scott “ataxiwardance” Kane. i’m the fellow on the right in that there photo above. pleasure to meet you too.

my band Grand & Noble just independently released our self-titled debut album. it’s been my pleasure to serve up the latest and greatest of Parks and Recreaion gifs to you for the last year and now i’d like to ask you to take a minute to listen and download our music for FREEwe’re from Chicago, IL. we rock hard. we have our own tumblr as well.

that’s prolly all you need to know to get started.

i started this blog largely as an exercise in mirth and social experimentation reacting to Aziz Ansari’s amusement at a Ron Swanson gif some time ago. Aziz is a favorite comic of mine and as an occasional frequenter of the Whistler in Logan Square, i knew i couldn’t let him down. so if you, or Aziz, are able to spare a moment listening to Grand & Noble’s debut album, it would be much appreciated.

also, feel free to suggest to Mr. Ansari that some of our tracks might make for a good addition to Parks and Recreation’s upcoming fourth season.

warm regards,

scott kane
